KEEPING SCORE: The Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 4 points, or 0.2%, to 2,803 as of 11:10 a.m. Eastern time. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 84 points, or 0.3%, to 25,009. The Nasdaq composite edged up 10 points, or 0.1%, to 7,833 after it closed at a record high Thursday. The Russell 2000 index of smaller-company stocks climbed 4 points, or 0.3%, to 1,694.
