Mark Bruno Joins Informa Connect as Managing Director of Wealth Management

Mark Bruno, an industry leader with more than 20 years of experience in wealth and asset management, is joining Informa Connect in the newly-created role of Managing Director of Wealth Management. 

Before joining Informa, Bruno was managing director at Echelon Partners, a leading investment bank to the rapidly consolidating wealth management industry, where he worked with some of the most significant players while creating targeted research and events for RIAs. Prior to Echelon, Bruno was a managing director and associate publisher at InvestmentNews, and served in numerous leadership positions for more than 10 years. Bruno helped supervise InvestmentNews’ digital, multimedia, research, content strategy and sales units, and in 2019, he was a part of the deal team that sold the platform to Bonhill Group. 

At Informa, Bruno will help steer the organization’s media and event properties as it re-imagines face-to-face and digital events, and bring a deep focus on financial advvisors to the programs.

Bruno said he welcomed the opportunity to join Informa Connect to focus on its media and event properties (which includes, Inside ETFs and Inside WealthStack). He said he shared Informa’s vision for informing financial advisors and creating connections for those in the wealth management industry.

Bruno joins Informa Connect as the industry’s event landscape adjusts to a potential post-COVID-19 environment. Informa Connect CEO Andrew Mullins said the pandemic had enabled the organization to “review, analyse and reset” the goals and ambitions it had for its brands and customers.
