Apple Inc. closed $1.15 short of its 52-week high ($145.65), which the company reached on July 9th.
The stock demonstrated a mixed performance when compared to some of its competitors Monday, as Microsoft Corp. fell 0.22% to $277.32, Alphabet Inc. Cl A rose 1.16% to $2,539.51, and International Business Machines Corp. fell 0.42% to $140.92. Trading volume (75.2 M) remained 4.3 million below its 50-day average volume of 79.6 M.
