The $33.5 billion Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, committed $90 million to two co-investment funds in June, a transaction report showed.
The largest commitment was $75 million to CO20210602, a real estate co-investment, from ERS’ $4 billion private real estate portfolio.
An additional $15 million commitment was made to CO20180629, a private infrastructure co-investment, from the system’s $1.3 billion infrastructure portfolio.
ERS originally committed $50 million to the fund in June 2018.
As a matter of policy, the system does not identify the manager or investment target of co-investments.
