Trump Alabama rally updates – Don ‘BOOED by own fans’ for telling them to get vaccinated after bashing ‘woke’ culture

This post was originally published on this site

DONALD Trump was booed by his own fans at his Alabama rally on Saturday for telling them to get vaccinated after slamming “woke” culture.

Former President Trump‘s rally was held in Cullman, Alabama, and hosted by the Alabama Republican Party.

During his speech, Trump told the MAGA crowd that he believes in their freedoms, but “recommends” the Covid-19 vaccines.

“I did it. It’s good. Take the vaccines,” he said.

After receiving some boos from the largely maskless crowd, Trump backtracked a bit, again stressing his respect for “freedom.”

“No, that’s okay. That’s all right. You got your freedoms,” he said.

“But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn’t work, you’ll be the first to know. Okay? I’ll call up Alabama, I’ll say, hey, you know what?

“But [the vaccine] is working. But you do have your freedoms you have to keep. You have to maintain that.”

Before the president spoke, fans — and QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene — were spotted with “Impeach Biden” signs.

During his speech, Trump also repeatedly bashed President Joe Biden over the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan. He also played a General Patton movie speech before taking the stage.

Trump said on the show: “It is a terrible time for our country. I don’t think in all of the years our country has ever been so humiliated.

“I don’t know what you call it – a military defeat or a psychological defeat, there has never been anything like what’s happened here: You can go back to Jimmy Carter with the hostages.

“You are dealing with thousands and thousands of Americans and others that are stranded and very dangerously…  in Afghanistan.

“So it’s something that you can’t even believe.”

“But I do think we need [what the] British call a ‘shadow government,’ a government that you have – a government in the parliamentary system.
