SH lands wealth management partner in Singapore

Stephenson Harwood has hired private wealth expert Suzanne Johnston as a partner in Singapore. Johnston was most recently director and senior legal counsel at financial services firm UBS.

Johnston previously worked in the UK with firms such as Maurice Turnor Gardner, Harcus Sinclair and Linklaters. She relocating to Singapore in 2013 to join Withers, in 2013 where she spent more than five years.

Specialising in international tax and wealth planning, Johnston advises high net-worth individuals, professional trustees, family offices and private banks.

She is Stephenson Harwood’s first lateral partner hire in Singapore after it added arbitration expert Chris Bailey from King & Spalding in July.

Johnston’s arrival means Stephenson Harwood now has 20 partners in Singapore.
