GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (AP) _ Patria Investments Ltd. (PAX) on Tuesday reported profit of $18.3 million in its first quarter.

The Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands-based company said it had net income of 13 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 24 cents per share.

The private-market investment firm posted revenue of $55 million in the period.
