Gorsche has been serving as complex director for private wealth management in Los Angeles County since 2020 and has spent 20 years at UBS. She will continue to oversee the firm’s Los Angeles private wealth management branch.

The memo also states that UBS manager Jim Kottoor is now market head for the greater Los Angeles market, which includes UBS operations in Santa Barbara, Bakersfield, and other areas. Kottoor most recently served as head of UBS’ Newport Beach Complex, a position he had held since 2020.

Leslie Chang, a UBS branch manager, has been promoted to Pasadena complex director, and will be responsible for operations in Pasadena, Seal Beach, and Brea.

Meanwhile, Justin Frame, who serves as market head for Los Angeles-Orange County, will take on a new role overseeing a recently created Southern California Market, which includes offices in San Diego, La Jolla, and Carmel Valley. Frame joined UBS two years ago from Morgan Stanley .

The changes in leadership, effective as of June 1, come as one local manager, Jaron Singletary, takes a leave of absence and another, Chris Marsh, changes careers, according to the memo.

In addition, UBS picked up Stephen McCashin from J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, where he served as a regional director in San Francisco, according to two people familiar with the matter. This is a reunion for McCashin and UBS. Prior to J.P. Morgan, McCashin spent 16 years at UBS, serving as a managing director and complex manager in the Bay area, according to his LinkedIn profile. McCashin is joining UBS as a private wealth advisor.
