NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:40AM
Parag Milk(up 3.84%), Future Consumer(up 2.78%), Dodla Dairy(up 2.59%), Emami(up 1.97%), P & G Hygiene(up 1.37%), DFM Foods(up 1.26%), Heritage Foods(up 0.97%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.97%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(up 0.88%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 0.82%) were among the top gainers.
Nakoda Group(down 3.25%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 3.11%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.16%), Hindustan Foods(down 1.14%), Prataap Snacks(down 0.97%), Marico(down 0.84%), Bajaj Consumer(down 0.81%), Britannia Industries(down 0.78%), Gillette India(down 0.59%) and Jyothy Labs(down 0.52%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 75.05 points down at 17265.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 210.04 points at 57905.46 at around 10:40AM.
IndusInd Bank(up 1.26%), State Bank of India(up 1.1%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.98%), ITC(up 0.94%), Asian Paints(up 0.9%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.85%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.81%), Grasim Industries(up 0.79%), Coal India(up 0.73%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.66%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, UPL Ltd(down 3.53%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.33%), Hero MotoCorp(down 2.3%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 2.13%), SBI Life(down 1.77%), HDFC(down 1.64%), Eicher Motors(down 1.62%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.59%), Tata Steel(down 1.48%) and Bharti Airtel(down 1.47%) were trading in the red.
